Fancy a quick guide on how to play?
Each player gets a random handful of dominoes (seven each to start with, to be exact). Each domino is typically called a ‘bone’ by enthusiasts. Players take it in turns to lay as many ‘bones’ as they can end-to-end on the pieces already laid on the board.
Players need to get rid of all the bones in their hand to be declared the winner. If neither player can go they player with the least number of ‘pips’ (dots) on their bones wins the money at stake.
Bones, pips… if you’re getting dizzy reading all this don’t worry – dominoes is a wonderful game to play with a complex blend of skill and chance, just like all other classic games played for real money around the world.
